An Exempted Micro-Enterprise (EME) is deemed to have a B-BBEE status of Level 4 Contributor, with a procurement recognition level of 100%. However, an Exempted Micro-Enterprise qualifies for a promotion to a B-BBEE status of Level 3 Contributor, having a procurement recognition level of 110%, if it is more than 50% owned by black people or by black women. |
B-BBEE Registry - an overview
B1SA has created an online B-BBEE Registry in order to provide a national central source of the B-BBEE status of all entities, and to facilitate the flow of this information between entities by providing a Unique Reference Number (URN) for each entity. Simply click the middle button on the left to view an entity's B-BBEE Status using their URN. The submitting and uploading of the B-BBEE certificates on the B-BBEE Registry is free. If you wish to do so, you need to register your entity with B1SA for B-BBEE purposes by clicking the button below. As soon as you register, you will be allocated a Unique Reference Number (URN) by B1SA. This is your passport to free personalised interaction and assistance from B1SA B-BBEE Support Team, who will assist you to submit your B-BBEE status. If you have already registered with B1SA, you can login using the bottom button on the left, or submit your B-BBEE credentials to the B-BBEE Support Team, together with your URN, via e-mail at admin@beeadmin.co.za. B1SA encourage all procurement managers , transformation managers and business owners to use this resource to collate the B-BBEE credentials of all your suppliers or business partners. |

B1SA B-BBEE Opportunities Network is a search engine that's designed to help businesses find B-BBEE compliant entities for ownership, procurement, or enterprise development opportunities. It allows organisations to search a directory of entities who match specific requirements in terms of the nature of services/goods provided, region , B-BBEE status or other search criteria. To join and gain the advantages of marketing your organisation on the Opportunities Network, you are required to register on B1SA B-BBEE Registry. |
